Cathy MacRae is the founder of Creative Weddings Planning & Design, a full-service wedding planning and design studio in Calgary, Alberta. She holds the Master Wedding Planner™ designation from the Association of Bridal Consultants — the only planner in Canada to do so.
Almost two decades of planning weddings in the Calgary and the Canadian Rockies, and still moved every single time the light hits the mountains at 8am.
Cathy plans and designs weddings for couples marrying in Calgary, Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise and Emerald Lake, alongside a curated team of designers, floral artists and production staff. Her work spans city ballrooms, national park ceremony sites and intimate micro-weddings — and she leads Between The Moments, the studio's wedding content creation division.
Beyond planning, Cathy speaks at industry conferences and teaches through wedding planner training programs, mentoring the next generation of planners across North America.
